Facial biometrics

Facial Biometrics aims to reduce the demand for necessary actions when using applications and the system, making it more transparent. In practice, users will have less work to do with their routine actions such as new bookings, checking in/out, going through ticket terminals, etc...

At first, we are only allowing the use of facial biometrics for some products and system functions, but in the future we intend to explore its full potential.

What is Facial Biometrics?

Facial biometrics is a technology that records the main points of a person's face and encodes them as data. This data is used for identification and as a security key and treated as a document for actions and validations of various applications, as well as digital biometrics.

Facial biometrics for Room Display

For Room Display, the use of this technology is of great benefit to our customers. We saw that the incorporation of new procedures such as check-in in most cases generates a lot of friction, often becoming a cultural barrier. As a result, problems such as high no-show rates, forgotten and lost reservations and the common scheduling conflict are observed.

With biometrics we can reduce steps, speed up and make check-in validation more transparent, reducing friction and easing the need to adhere to new procedures.

For this delivery, we are releasing facial recognition not only for check-in validations, but also for check-out actions, creating new appointments, canceling events, reporting maintenance problems and even releasing the room for cleaning. Facial biometrics for Access Control

We also incorporated biometrics into access control, which is a big step for this product. Access control now validates users' passage simply by recognizing their faces, avoiding the constant opening of the application at each validation and speeding up passage.
